VALUE

When we say your event lasts X amount of time, you get X amount of time.  Our involvement in the event starts when our character(s) are dressed and enter.  During 1 hour or less events, if or when the character needs a break they're off your clock.

Within a 40 mile radius of our base of operations we offer several time options.  You choose for how long you want entertainment.

Entertainment options include multiple characters and/or services at discounted rates.

QUALITY

The driving forces at Dandelion Studio have over 50 years of combined experience in the performing arts.

We regularly participate in skill building activities.  In 2006, 9 performers participated in the Circus Magic Clown Convention (February, Williamsburg, VA) and 2 performers participated in the 2006 Face and Body Art International Convention (June, Orlando, FL).  In addition to 6 performers participating in the Circus Magic Convention and 2 performers participating in the Face and Body Art International Convention,  2 performers participated in Balloon Camp (August, Las Vegas, NV) and 3 performers participated in T-Jam on the Road with Ken Stillman (August, Silver Spring, MD) in 2005.

All performers are given opportunities to attend studio sponsored skill builders on a regular basis and are given incentives for their participation.

All performers are mentored and evaluated before performing solo.

SERVICE

We care about your event and show it by asking questions and making suggestions.  We would rather provide you with a lower cost option or even refer you to a competitor than not suit your needs.

CREATIVITY

Our customers' requests spawn new ideas for party themes.  New ideas are researched and developed on a continual basis.

Owner has been certified by major craft companies to demonstrate and teach their products.  She has also developed and taught many professional and enrichment classes for adults and children earning kudos including an instructor of the year award.  She has been selected by a Royal Caribbean International to face paint on board their ships.  Her arts and crafts skills can be seen as the props on a commercial for a new technology glue gun commercial.

Co-owner is skilled in several art forms including becoming a published poet while still in high school.  In addition, she is fluent in ASL and reaches out to the deaf community through Dandelion Studio.

The owner and co-owner have recently (12/06) designed and executed the make-up for characters in a commercial for the national show "Ace of Cakes."
